Melissa Sumner, NP
Melissa Sumner is an experienced nurse practitioner Master injector with over ten years in aesthetics. She loves doing individual consultations and creating a unique & personal plan for each patient. Providing a full range of different aesthetic services including prevention, natural enhancements and complete transformations. She enjoys Neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Dermal Filler, PRP/PRF, Kybella, thread lifts and more. Melissa is a family nurse practitioner that graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2006. Melissa is the founder of Sumner Aesthetics.
Michael Sumner, MD
Dr. Sumner is originally from southwest Georgia, a graduate of the University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in chemistry, and a graduate from the Medical College of Georgia with a doctorate in medicine. His residency was in internal medicine at Augusta University. He is board-certified in internal medicine, has been practicing medicine for almost 20 years and specializes in hospital medicine. He resides in Evans, Georgia with his wife Melissa and three children Ben, Ethan and Andrew.
Brandi Whidden - Administrative Specialist
Brandi has been working in the beauty industry since 2011 working in all parts of the aesthetic industry including cosmetic studios and Medical Spa doing hands-on in the treatment room as well as in management roles. She is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, reporting and budgeting for our practice so our patients can receive the best care options available. She loves working in a fun-loving environment where she can be part of making others feel and look their best!
Brandi is a small town Georgia girl who was raised on a cattle farm.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching her two boys play baseball, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kristen - Patient Care Coordinator
Kristen has been in the medical field for 8 years and has made it her top priority to make every patient she encounters feel special throughout their entire experience at Sumner Aesthetics. She can inform you on all things skin care as she has a passion for educating herself and others on having and maintaining healthy skin. It is her goal to make others happy and to always have a smile on her face.
Kristen is a born and raised Augusta native. She spent almost every childhood year at the Masters with her grandfather and loves everything about sports. When she’s not outdoors you can find her baking in the kitchen. Sweets are her favorite and she says there’s nothing ice cream can’t fix!
